Below are instructions for the various options for:

• Main Menu: This is the initial screen upon entering the app & provides options for operating the app.
• The Kindle Menu key: This key can be pressed at any point in the app & will show options available at the point in the app the key was pressed.

Option: * Resume - XXXXX *

• This option is displayed when you use the Home key to exit the app & then restart later.
• Pressing will return you to the last display option prior to exit.
• This will show as either:
  • * Resume - My Trip *
  • * Resume - Select Activity *
  • * Resume - Edit List Of All Items *
• Note: This line only is displayed when re-entering the app after exiting from one of the above areas.

Option: My Trip

• Will go to your current Trip checklist.
• This was explained in the previous Instruction page.
• Note: Before using this option you must have first used the 'Select Items For My Trip' otherwise a message will appear to remind you of this.

Option: Select Items For Trip

• Will go to a Master list of all possible items to pack.
• Choose items from here first before going to 'My Trip. This was explained in the previous Instruction page.

Option: Reset For New Trip

• When selected this will clear out the last Trip.
• Will also blank out all items in the Selection pages & Quantities.

Option: Edit List Of All Items

• Used to Edit the Master list of Categories and Items.
• Add, Delete, Change, Cut & Paste can be performed on Categories & Items
• The Edit process is explained on the next Web Page.

Option: Basic Instructions

• Used to display some of the basic operating keys.

Option: About

• Used to display the version of the app & contact information for this website and email address.

NOTE:

• From any point in the app pressing the 'Menu' key will display the menu below.
• Some options may not be selectable based on the current display area in the app.

Option: Return To Main Menu

• From any point in the app this will return you to the 'Main Menu' screen.

Options: 'My Trip List' / 'Select Items To Pack' / 'Edit All Items

• These options were explained earlier.

Options: 'Clear Check Marks' / 'Clear Selection Items' / 'Clear Quantities'

• These options can be used to clear the item indicated.
• Note: Clearing Selected Items will result in the clearing of the current Trip list.

Options: 'Instructions For This Screen' / Basic Instructions'

• Provides instruction about the current display screen OR Basic Instructions on the use of keys.

Options: Reset To Last Backup

• When you exit the app via the 'Home' key a backup copy of your work is saved.
• When you run the app the next time this option allows you to restore the Checklist back to this last saved state.

Options: Yes: Quantity With Select

• Normally when on the Select Items To Pack screens you pick items & if desired use the 5-Way Right to fill in a Quantity.
• If you are a person who always wants to fill in the Quantity field for each pick, then this option will auto display the Quantity pick sub screen when each item is picked.
• NOTE: After selecting this option you can reset by returning to Menu and now pick:
  • No: Quantity With Select
