Working With Master Checklists

Selection style checklists work from a master list of repeatable tasks you need to do over some interval of time.   You select the tasks that need to be done and then, with a push of a button, generate a list to accomplish.   The apps come pre populated with numerous typical tasks or items  You can then add, delete, or change items either in the master list or the generated list to make tasks/items fit your needs.  Additionally you can set priorities by adding red or yellow dots in front of an item as well as add a quantity and/or weight to an item in the master or the newly built checklist.

 

Below is the simple three step process to build a selection style list:

STEP 1:

 

-On the Checklist Selection screen select the name of the Master list you wish to use
 

-Now just push Select and the Master list will be displayed.  
 

STEP 2:

 

-On the Master checklist select the items you wish to use in order to create a new checklist for your specific trip.

-Now just push Copy To button when done selecting items.

-The Plus green button in the upper left can be pushed. This causes a Minus button to appear. When in this mode all items will be selected EXCEPT for the items checked. 

 

NOTE: At any time in a Master checklist you can Edit this list as covered on The Basics web page.

STEP 3:

-On the Checklist Selection screen select the name of the Master list you wish to use

-Now just push Select and the Master list will be displayed.

RESULT:

 

Is a new checklist representing only the items you require for your trip ... In this case a trip called New Trip
